Online group therapy for ages 15-23. Parent-funded developmental support where young people navigate anxiety, identity, and the future through peer connection and IFS-informed facilitation.
The Navigate Collective was born out of a simple truth: young people today are under pressure in every direction.
Many are struggling not just with anxiety or low mood but with the deeper emotional weight that comes with exams, university decisions, family expectations, identity questions, and life planning. They feel unsure of themselves in a world that constantly judges what they look like, how they perform, and whether they are "on track".
This isn't therapy. But it is therapeutic.
It's a space where figuring things out is normal, not pathological. Where you can be honest about struggling without being treated like you're broken.
Parent-Funded, School-Endorsed
Navigate Collective is a private, parent-funded programme. We partner with schools as signposting allies; schools share information with their parent community, and we handle everything else. No school funding required, no administrative burden.
For young people who need more targeted support, 1:1 therapy sessions are also available alongside the group programme.

Each cohort is designed for the specific challenges and transitions of your life stage
School pressure, friendship dynamics, family expectations, and identity questions. Finding your voice while managing the expectations of others.
University transitions, young adult independence, and building authentic confidence. Stepping into who you're becoming while navigating new freedoms and responsibilities.

Navigate Collective isn't just about receiving support, it's about growing into someone who can offer it. Our peer mentorship pathway creates opportunities for older members (ages 19-23) to mentor younger participants (ages 15-19).
This is how Navigate Collective becomes more than a programme—it becomes a movement.
Young people supporting young people, creating a ripple effect of understanding, growth, and authentic connection.
Hear from young people who've found their place in Navigate Collective
"I was so isolated before joining. I thought I was the only one feeling overwhelmed by everything. The group helped me realise that what I was going through was normal for someone my age, and I learned so much from hearing how others were handling similar situations. I finally felt understood."
— Navigate Collective member, age 19
"Being homeschooled, I barely had any friends my age and felt like I was way behind everyone else socially. I was terrified about starting university because I didn't know how to connect with people or if I'd fit in anywhere. The anxiety about what others thought of me was overwhelming. Navigate Collective was the first place I found people who didn't judge me for being different or inexperienced. By the time I started uni at age 19, I actually had some confidence about who I was."
— Navigate Collective member, age 20
Note: Many people benefit from both group support and individual therapy. We can discuss individual therapy alongside Navigate Collective if that feels right for you.
From Jo-Anne Karlsson, Founder & Facilitator
As an IFS & Brainspotting therapist working with young people in London, I kept seeing the same pattern: brilliant, sensitive, thoughtful young people who felt alone in their struggles; thinking it was just them. They were managing anxiety, navigating identity questions, dealing with family expectations, and trying to figure out who they were becoming, all while the world told them they should have it all figured out.
Individual therapy was helping, but I realised something was missing: the power of peer connection. The relief that comes from hearing someone your own age say, "I feel that too." The validation of realising your struggles aren't signs of brokenness—they're part of being human, especially during life's biggest transitions.
Navigate Collective was born from this realisation. I wanted to create a space where young people could experience both: the therapeutic structure and IFS-informed guidance of professional support, combined with the irreplaceable power of peer connection and mutual understanding.
This isn't just a group therapy programme. It's a movement; a place where young people navigate life transitions together, support each other's growth, and discover that they're not alone in figuring it all out.
You don't need to have it all figured out. You just need to want something different.
